Excellent service I recently requested some giant hissing roaches they not only got them for me but called to inform me the day they came in I'll definitely be back
I got what I needed and was able to get in and out. There is an opportunity for organization as there was quite a bit mixed up in the wrong areas and on the wrong shelves. Overall a good pet chain.
Great help works here
They're great if you're looking for something like a dog cage or cat carrier for the vet. I got a small cat door for my basement so my cat can't get lock down there. It's cheaper to go to the grocery store to get the food and or cat litter.
When it comes to basic pet needs they have the typical selections .... which is what most people need in general. However Petco now has an exotics section, and as such they sell many exotics that need fruit flies and small insects to survive. When ever I go to get fruit flies they are ALWAYS OUT!! Like there has only been 3 times in this past 6 months they actually have them in stock ..... and no one EVER KNOWS when they will be back in stock!! This is beyond frustrating .... and now at the point of angering, because it's a constant thing! I always get the same ignorant answer of " I don't know when they will be delivered, we have been out for a few weeks". Which begs the question what they feed the small lizards that require the fruit flies in store ..... and who is in charge of the ordering there? When I ask if they're ever going to be in stock they not only don't know, but they don't even have the common curtsy to ask a manager, or find out if other pet co's in the area might have some. It's just "I don't know". I could understand if they didn't have a section that catered to exotics, and I'm just being rude ..... but that's not the case. If you work somewhere and something hasn't been on the shelf for over a week you might think about ordering more!! I know a crazy premise right? I know for a fact it's not just me that calls for these, because I have been told in the past that they get called about it often. Obviously someone is dropping the ball at pet co with the exotics section, and quite frankly it makes me concerned for the animals well being that are in that section, because there are lots of times they don't even have crickets in stock! If this was the first or second time I wouldn't even be bothered. However I think it's very unreasonable to find a product that should always be on the shelf 3 times out of 6 months!! I've had to order fruit flies from special online vendors ..... which I don't mind, but I shouldn't have to do that if pet co would order the correct supplies in the correct amount. This is only the second google review I have ever done, and I waited 9 months to do it to see if they would correct this issue with their stocking ...... obviously they don't have concern over this issue. I have actually been told "maybe there's a shortage or something"..... A shortage? of fruit flies and crickets? Both of which are needed to feed animals you sell at your store? So when they sell anoles, or small gecko's what the hell do they say to the customer who purchases them and needs to also buy food with it? I just don't understand how they keep dropping the ball on this. If this is ever corrected I will gladly update my review ..... though I doubt I will, because I can't see this changing.
