I went today to return some items. An electrical panel and some recessed lighting. Now with losing my house to a fire a few years back, I've spent probably 40g in Lowe's. They WOULD NOT return for even store credit!!!! Unbelievable!!!! I will NEVER do business there again, I'll pay more and ship locally, BTW, nothing was ever opened...

Special ordered and paid for a $4700 generator that they didn't actually order for about a month. After a big screw up they found one available and got it shipped immediately. It was received about a week later than originally planned but the alternative was at least a month or two back-ordered. They fixed their major mistake rather nicely with good customer service. Review went from 1 star to 4.
I consistently have great experiences at this store. JP knows me and clearly cares about my projects. Mike Levesque has always done a super job serving my needs. Others criticize return policy, but I walk in there all the time with returns, and I never have a problem. I have lived in Amherst for 5 years and have completed serious renovations to my house in that time (kitchen, 3 bathrooms, landscape projects, exterior paint etc.). I can proudly say that Lowe's is behind all of them and my house looks "wicked good"! Keep up the good work, Lowes of Amherst!
